Even impressed my landlady!: I was a very late in scheduling movers because I didn’t know where I’d be moving (I just knew I was). I called all the big names in the city, and went on the Movers.com site to get quotes. None of these companies were able to accommodate me because I needed to be out on the last day of the month, before noon. I found Crescent on Yahoo, checked to make sure they were not blacklisted (don’t worry, they are NOT). Luckily when I called, they were able to move me on the day and time I requested. The movers were on time, polite, took the time to walk me through all the charges – and the charges were the same as other moving companies i looked at. I would definitely recommend them. Heck, my landlady was so impressed by them she requested their info so she could recommend them to other tenants!

Alex and his team at Crescent Movers were GREAT! From my first phone call with them, to my free in-house quote, to the actual move (from Illinois to Michigan), they were friendly, fast, efficient and affordable. They loaded up all of our belongings from our 1,000 sq. ft. apartment in only 3 hours! They unloaded quickly too. These guys know what they’re doing – and they do it with excellence. I chose Crescent Movers based off of the reviews on here and I must say, it was the best decision because the reviews were 100% correct. I moved on April 17, 2008 and Crescent Movers had 3 guys they sent out and even though it was just me having my stuff moved, I have the stuff of a family of five, LOL so I have to say that the guys worked really hard. I’ve never seen movers move stuff so quickly. They were very good about alerting me to things like me leaving fine jewelry in my armoire which I truly appreciated along with allowing me to put my utmost trust in them. They also wrapped all my furniture to protect it as they were moving it so there was no damage to my property which I was highly impressed with. All the workers were very friendly as well. I know the guys were tired from all the stuff I had but they never let me know it. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you CRESCENT. DARLENE N

Crescent Movers made my moving experience stress free. I called them at the last minute after the moving company I originally contacted gave me the run around on their prices. They arrived promptly at 9:00 in the morning as requested, and moved my furniture with great speed and care. The crew was very courteous and concerned that I was completely satisfied with my experience. The price was very reasonable and if I need to move again, I would definitely contact this company first. Out standing Service, and Inexpensive as Well: My wife needed to move several heavy pieces of furniture out of a small, cramped apartment on the north side, and, as one of the movers pointed out, the doors in the apartment building were all hinged on the wrong side. Crescent made the move absolutely painless, and charged us only the high end of their estimate, which was lower than any of the estimates we got from the 20-25 other companies we called, including the big, national moving chains. We also needed to postpone the move a couple days after we scheduled it, and Crescent was able to turn on a dime and accommodate the new move date, even though we only called the day before the originally scheduled date. The crew arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. the day of the move, packed everything up quickly, securely, and carefully, and then delivered it to our house four hours away mid-afternoon, unpacking and setting everything up exactly where we asked them to. If we had known the service would be this good, we wouldn’t have dreaded making the move the way we did. We will recommend Crescent as the first choice to any of our friends moving to or from the Chicago area. E. Fisher
