How It All Started
In 1985, 12-year-old Brian from Rogers Park, Chicago, joined his father’s moving company. Starting as a watchman and waterboy, Brian quickly fell in love with the work and the people he met across Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods. As a 7th grader, Brian’s journey in the moving industry had officially begun.
Brian spent the next six years learning from his father. He moved up from carrying small boxes to leading major moving jobs. By the time he graduated high school, Brian was known for his leadership, problem-solving, and hands-on experience in the moving business.
After high school, Brian worked for several moving companies to support himself through college. He was disappointed by the unethical practices he saw: misleading quotes, damaged belongings, and poor service. Though he earned a degree and started a medical career, he couldn’t shake his passion for honest, quality moving services.
The Birth of Crescent Movers
Six months into his medical career, Brian left the industry to follow his true calling. He founded Crescent Movers, aiming to provide reliable, professional, and honest moving services to the Chicago community. Today, Brian is passing down his knowledge to his sons.
