Your Moving Checklist to Help You Stay on Track
We handle all types of residential moves with care and precision. No matter where you live, we know how to get the job done.
One Month Before
Make a list of what’s moving and what we’ll handle. Call Crescent Movers to book your date (earlier for summer moves). Reserve elevator time if needed. Update your address with USPS and notify your service providers.
Two Weeks Before
Donate or sell unwanted items. Clear out food and clean the kitchen. Arrange pet care and schedule any appliance disconnections.
One Week Before
Pack what you won’t need for the week. Disassemble furniture or leave it to us. Label boxes by room and keep fragile or “do not move” items separate.
Day Before the Move
Set aside valuables and fragile items. Unplug electronics and appliances. Keep essentials like documents and keys with you
Moving Day
Be ready two hours before your scheduled time. Supervise loading and do a final walkthrough. Turn off utilities and leave keys if needed.
Delivery Day
Be present to check unloading. We’ll help with furniture placement but not appliance setup. Sign final paperwork and keep for your records.
